To communicate the ideals and effects of dandyism within black culture, Superfine & Dandy visually unites different eras of the Black American landscape in relation to their use of style as a tool for means of self-actualization; and uses thematic categories defined by the MET (Presence, Disguise, Freedom, & Champion) to represent the significance of specific people and movements within these periods.
